Terry Winters Abstraction above. A set of "Glyph' prints on the right.

Terry Winters. He is an American contemporary artist. He is known for making abstract paintings focusing on nature and process, combining observation of the natural work with diagram evidence of the natural world (molecule structure) for example. I like his use of overlay and how he uses space. In particular, I am interested in the quality of his mark-making and texture.

This is my drawing after one of Terry Winter's "Glyphs":

I like the positive-negative space in this image and it makes me wonder how I can use Terry Winter's sense of all-over space while still having a distinct "emphasis".
